Lower Face Cannula Course Overview

The Lower face Cannula training is the second course that practitioners typically take in their training journey after they have completed the Dual Intro to Toxin and Dermal Filler Training. Injectors already practicing in the field using primarily needles will also find this course valuable. While all aesthetic practitioners require the knowledge of how to use a needle to administer dermal filler, many choose to learn the cannula technique. The cannula technique has many advantages and has been shown to reduce swelling and bruising while increasing patient safety. This course will cover all areas included in our Basic Filler Training Course but does so using the cannula.

Lower Face Cannula Course Description

Lower face cannula training includes extensive pre course online modules followed by a hands on day of training in a personalized setting. No more than 2 trainees at a time in the room to ensure maximum injection tine. Areas covered will include cheeks, chins, jawlines, melomental folds, lip augmentation and nasolabial folds with an emphasis on using cannulas.will concentrate on the importance of patient consultation, setting client expectations, and explaining risks and contraindications.

With almost 20 years of experience in the aesthetic field, Patricia has acquired extensive knowledge in all aspects of aesthetic treatments. From the initial consultation, facial assessment, and the creation of a personalized treatment plan, down to the actual injections themselves. She continually upgrades her knowledge, both through clinical reading and reflection to training with the top injectors in the field. With a passion for training, she and her team at APT Injection Training have trained thousands of injectors over the past two decades. APT provides the trainees with intensive,pre course and hands-on personalized training combined with ongoing support to ensure their success in the field. Patricia is dual-licensed as both an RPN and RN and holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Nutrition and Nutraceutical Sciences.

Ada is a passionate and highly skilled Aesthetic Injections Specialist. She has worked alongside some of the most respected plastic surgeons in the industry and enjoys training other nurses and physicians on the art and medicine of cosmetic injections. Ada strives to provide her patients with natural, realistic results and creates treatment plans designed specifically to match their desires. Rather than use a “cookie-cutter approach”, she incorporates each patient’s preferences to deliver beautifully unique outcomes. She also works as a Nurse Practitioner at McMaster Children’s Hospital in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Outside of work, Ada enjoys spending time with her daughter and practicing Muay Thai, a form of Thai kickboxing.
